Team Sparring
Team versus team continuous sparring. A team is typically 5 fighters (plus reserves). Each fighter meets one opponent from the other team; the team with the most match wins advances.
Points
- Individual bouts scored under the same rules as Individual Sparring.
- Each won bout counts as 1 team point.
- Bout points are tallied across all matchups to determine the winning team.
Penalties
- Juui and gam-jeom apply per fighter, per bout.
- A disqualified fighter forfeits that bout to the opposing team.
- Team coaches receive warnings for unsportsmanlike conduct on the sideline.
Methods of Victory
- Most bouts won wins the tie.
- If tied on bouts: aggregate score across all bouts.
- If still tied: an extra tie-breaking bout is contested by one nominated fighter per side.
