Special Technique Breaking (Tuki Kyok Pa)

Competitors break a single board at a set height using flying / jumping kicks. Height is raised progressively until only one competitor succeeds.

Points

  • Techniques: flying high kick, flying side kick, flying turning kick, flying back kick, flying reverse turning kick.
  • Each successful break at the current height passes the competitor to the next round.
  • Two attempts per height are permitted.

Faults

  • Touching the board with the non-kicking foot / hand: no break.
  • Kicking below the marked line: no break.

Methods of Victory

  • Last competitor to successfully break at the highest height wins.
  • Tie: highest cumulative height across all techniques.
